Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev Halfway Through Season 3

Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev are busy filming The Vampire Diaries, and it's kind of hard to believe that the cast has already filmed about 11 or so episodes of season three. The popular CW show is moving quickly both on-screen and behind-the-scenes.

"Half way through season 3... Crazy," Ian tweetedalong with a photo of what looks like episode #311's script. The show seems to be doing amazingly well, and Ian and Nina are doing a great job evolving their characters. If you're a fan of the show, it's crazy to think that season three is moving along so quickly!

With maybe ten episodes left to film, Ian and Nina will likely be working right through the holidays. They both stay in Atlanta, Georgia where the show is filmed, taking them away from their families and the celebrity-filled cities of New York and Los Angeles. Sure it probably gets tough sometimes, but they have made some great friends and the both seem to really enjoy working on TVD.
