The Vampire Diaries continues this week with season 3 episode 8, and "Ordinary People" is going to reveal more about the Original Family through flashbacks and writing on cave walls. Just what's coming up for everyone as they delve into history?

This season introduced a new character in Mikael, played by Sebastian Roche (Supernatural). He has been in three episodes so far ("The End of the Affair," "The Reckoning," and "Smells Like Teen Spirit") and when he was last seen, he was refusing to feed from everything Katherine offered as he's been denying himself human blood. However, he did find someone to feed on: Katherine. It's unknown if she's still around. He'll be showing up again in this week's "Ordinary People," andSebastian Roche tweeted, "Watch Vampire Diaries on Thursday, it's going to be very interesting :)."
Mikael, the vampire who hunts vampires, seems to be the only one who can put any fear in Klaus, and Roche told TV Fanatic, "This episode will make it extremely clear what the relationship is between Klaus and Mikael." Just what will happen on The Vampire Diaries now that he has fed? Will he go after Klaus like the others hope for or does he have his own plans? Roche apparently "shot down the notion that Klaus and Mikael are related," so just what is his story? Why is he the one that Klaus is so scared of?
