Vampire Diaries Season 3 to bring Klaus’ mother to town & more. According to recent reports from Zap2it, the Vampire Diaries folks have more interesting things brewing for this season,which includes them bringing Klaus’ mother Esther into the picture.

She’s going to be played by the beautiful Alice Evans. Esther is,of course,also the mother of Elijah and Rebekah. There’s no word on how vicious she’ll be,but she is due to make her first appearance in episode 8 in a flashback scene.

Alice Evans credits include,playing character Eloise Hawking on ABC’s “Lost” and as character Heather Hills on “Curb Your Enthusiasm. The next episode 5 is due out this Thursday night,and will feature a very pissed off Klaus. He’s already a jerk,but in this episode,he’ll be a super jerk,putting Elena in great danger with Stefan. Also,for some reason, Tyler is going to be in some deep trouble too.
