Nina Dobrev was spotted walking through LAX Wednesday evening following the People's Choice Awards. In fact, she was carrying her very own People's Choice Award as boyfriend and co-star Ian Somerhalder pulled their luggage behind him.

According to a report from Popsugar, Dobrev was still wearing the pretty green dress she wore on the People's Choice Awards, and it was plain to see she wasn't going to let that award out of her arms. She and Ian Somerhalder arrived at LAX shortly after the awards show ended, to board a flight back to Atlanta.

Do you suppose Nina perhaps tucked her People's Choice Award away once she boarded the plane, or do you think it rode with her--getting tucked safely under the seat in front of her during take off and landing? Of course she and Ian likely flew first class, so they probably asked a flight attendant to stow it for them during the flight.

It was a very busy week for these two stars of The Vampire Diaries. Nina Dobrev celebrated her 23rd birthday Monday and then both she and Ian Somerhalder flew to L.A. for the People's Choice Awards on Wednesday. Nina actually sent a tweet to her followers from her Atlanta home on Thursday, saying she had just finished eating a piece of her birthday cake from Monday--with her People's Choice Award sitting on the table as she indulged.

It seems that Ian Somerhalder is incredibly proud of Nina Dobrev's win on Wednesday night. He sent her the following Twitter message of congratulations, even though he was on hand for the big event.

"Congratulations Nina!!! You won!!!! People DO like you;) You rock babe, truly."

Congrats to Nina on her win for her role in The Vampire Diaries. Hopefully she has some more cake to celebrate, but maybe she should eventually move her People's Choice Award to a mantle or shelf.
